  10. 20th Annual Summer Sounds Concert Series- Downtown Fever

    What could be better after a long Monday than spending the evening with family over a picnic dinner on the lush, fresh grass of the Joe Farmer Recreation Center Amphitheater, enjoying live music filtering through the evening air? How about being able to do that every Monday for four weeks? Concerts are held during the summer at the Joe Farmer Recreation Center Amphitheater.

    The music ranges from classical, country, contemporary pop hits and more. Thanks to the City of Allen and the Parks and Recreation Department, all Summer Sounds concerts are free. Light concessions are available for purchase. Ground blanket seating is preferred so that concert goers of all ages can enjoy the best line of sight.
