Fall season 2021 is officially here! When the weather cools off, we know how to have fun here in Allen. Maybe it’s the leaves crunching under our boots or the aroma of a Fall brew on a chilly evening, but there’s just something about this time of year that we can’t get enough of.

Festive Seasonal Events!

Live Music in Allen - Visit Allen Texas

Fall in Allen brings amazing weather and even more amazing Fall events the whole family will enjoy. Grab your blanket or lawn chair, find a spot on the Green, or enjoy patio dining Alfresco at Concerts by the Creek Fall Series at Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm. The series takes place each Saturday, September 4 - October 16 from 7 - 9 PM. 

The Village at Allen will also host a Fall Festival for the whole family on October 23 from 1-4 PM complete with live music, arts and crafts, a costume parade, and more. For our beer lovers out there, stop by Watters Creek on October 23 and take part in their annual Bach & Brews Halloween Beer Crawl. A number of restaurants will offer Spooktacular beer specials during the event. While you creep along, enjoy a little music from Allen Philharmonic Orchestra ensembles performing at various outside locations from 3 – 6 PM. Stop by Concierge to pick up your crawl card along with some free Halloween treats while supplies last and if you collect three stamps on the crawl card and return it to Concierge by 7 PM, you'll be entered for a chance to win a $250 Watters Creek gift card!

The Junior League of Collin County is bringing the 25th anniversary of the annual ‘Neath the Wreath Holiday Gift Market to Marriott Dallas Allen & Watters Creek Convention Center this Fall! The four-day holiday gift market takes place November 11-14, 2021 and hosts over 13,000 shoppers and over 125 merchants from throughout Texas and beyond. The holiday market features the best in unique holiday and home décor, ladies' clothing, accessories, gifts, jewelry, children’s items, gourmet food, and more. Leaves are Falling, Nature is Calling

Connemara Nature Preserve | Visit Allen Texas

As you may know, Allen is known for our parks and trails. But, one of our best-kept secrets is the Connemara Meadow Nature Preserve. Visitors from all around DFW venture out every season to explore this 72-acre natural oasis as our very own “Nature’s Playground.” Take a self-guided tour through the meadow, open daily from dawn until dusk, or come out for morning yoga or an afternoon picnic in The Pecan Grove during your visit.


Old Stone Dam Trail Allen, TX


Embark on an adventure on the Cottonwood Creek Hike and Bike Trail. This trail winds its way through lots of Fall colors along tree-lined Cottonwood Creek, playground areas, and passes through Historic Water Station Trail and Old Stone Dam. Embark on a bit of Allen history here with interpretative trails, signage, and impressive overlooks. You can also access this trail at Allen Station Park, which offers athletic fields, a playground, skate park, BMX track, and roller hockey rinks.
