With the arrival of festival season and warm weather, one of Allen's most talked about festivals is back for the 12th year. Pack your bags, book your stay, and throw on some sunscreen: it’s time for Allen's Annual Arts Festival, May 13-15, 2022!

This festival, hosted by the Allen Arts Alliance, is a haven for art lovers, by art lovers. Browse, admire, and purchase pieces from local artisans, mastering artistic styles from painting to woodwork. Start your journey at Blue House Too on the corner of Garden Park Dr. and Village Green, where you'll find a lineup of notable local artists creatively displayed in the studio’s windows.

The festival kicks off Friday night from 4-8 pm with live music from local musicians. With three days of festival fun, you'll want to come back each day to experience what new sounds and art styles each day holds.

On Saturday from 10 am - 8 pm and Sunday from 12-6 pm, continue your tour by checking out some of the best jewelers, sculptors, and muralists in the area. If you're lucky, you might even catch a few artists creating original pieces on the spot. You’ll also enjoy live music throughout the festival weekend, an artist's reception for the current exhibit: The Visual Arts League of Allen Spring Collective on Saturday from 6-8pm and children’s activities at Blue House Too.

Watters Creek Patio

There's no way you're going home empty-handed (or on an empty stomach) after exploring all that Watters Creek has to offer. Make your way to any of Watters Creek's delicious dining restaurants. Dine on the patio or set out a picnic with food to go on The Green, where you can relax in the sun and listen to the live music that fills the air. Pro Tip: Turn this experience up a notch by creating your own cocktail crawl. Shop, sip, and repeat by grabbing your favorite drink at each of their restaurants in between shopping the artists and boutiques. Start with Frogg Coffee Bar and Creperie, where you can fuel up on more than just coffee by indulging in their select options of local wine and beer. Then, make your way around the "U" of Watters Creek. Tap in at Mi Cocina where you can order a classic margarita, circle around by Edith's Café where their Pineapple Upside-down Martini will make you want to take another trip around, then end back at Village Burger Bar to finish off with truffle fries and one of their daily drink specials.

We can’t wait to see you there!
