Spring Festival Season

The annual Allen Arts Festival is back at Watters Creek Village, May 12 - 14 presented by the Allen Arts Alliance. You’ll find an outstanding group of local and regional artists, showcasing original art, including painting, pottery and more. After strolling the art, stay for the live music and children’s activities. This is a fun event for the entire family!

Make a weekend out of it, and head out for a day of good food and great wine at the Allen Food & Wine Festival on May 13, featuring a wide variety of delicious wines located within the shops at The Village at Allen. Sip and stroll to more than 20 unique locations while tasting wine and enjoying local bands playing throughout the Grove 12 - 4 p.m. You can also enjoy the outdoor market with fantastic local businesses and artisans. Come ready to shop, snap photos at the photo booth and compete to win wine at the grape stomping competition!
Spring is in the Air

Be sure to also check out one of Allen’s hidden gems, Connemara Nature Preserve, a 72-acre natural oasis that makes a picnic in the meadow one to remember for years to come. Or grab a spot at Bethany Lakes Park and enjoy catch-and-release fishing, watching the ducks or playing disc golf for an adventurous afternoon!
Enjoy the fresh spring air at The Edge located on the south end of Allen Station Park. The complex features a concrete skate park, two roller-hockey rinks and a BMX track! The skate park is one of the largest outdoor facilities of its kind in the state. Now, let's see those bike tricks!

Finish your day outside with dinner at The HUB! This outdoor food hall has whatever you’re in the mood for, from pizza and burgers to BBQ and seafood. Check the calendar for Movie Night, Live Music Fridays and Crowd Karaoke because there’s a festival every day at The HUB!

Keep the kids’ spirits up and bodies active during rainy days indoors at Jumping World! Trampolines, the Slam Dunk Arena and foam pits will have everyone bouncing off the walls. From toddlers to big kids there is fun to be had for all ages. How quickly can you complete the Ninja Warrior Course?
