Looking for somewhere new to host your next meeting? How about the picture-perfect place for your next company outing? Check out Allen’s newest amenity The Courses at Watters Creek! The Courses at Watters Creek will hold its grand opening in September. And, as the name suggests, The Courses at Watters Creek is not just one course it’s actually multiple courses designed for players of all abilities.

The Courses at Watters Creek is conveniently located on North Central Expressway at the Plano/Allen border, making it easily accessible to motorists traveling through Allen. The Courses includes The 18-holeTraditions Course, The nine-hole Players Course and The six-hole Futures Course which is part of the expanded practice area. The Courses also features a pro-shop, on-site restaurant and banquet room making it a full-service facility.

In addition to offering courses that can accommodate groups and players of all levels, The Courses at Watters Creek also offers groups the use of the Banquet Pavilion. The Banquet Pavilion offers a picturesque view of the golf course and is a great location for any occasion. Located adjacent to the on-site restaurant, Grill 33, equipped with a state-of-the-art audio/visual system, the 140 capacity Pavilion is the ideal location for your corporate meeting or banquet. With all these options, The Courses at Watters Creek is the perfect venue for company outings and corporate tournaments.

Folks familiar with the area might recognize this location as the site of Chase Oaks Golf Club, a smashing success when it opened in 1986. Out of the gate, PGA members consistently ranked the course in the “Top 10 North Texas Courses.” The Dallas Morning News even awarded it “Best Public Course” in 1991.

After a great 25-year run, there was room for improvement and in October 2011, Chase Oaks Golf Club closed for renovations. The course reopened as The Courses at Watters Creek after a yearlong overhaul. The existing 27 holes were transformed into a very playable, state-of-the-art golf venue uniquely featuring 33 wonderfully distinct holes of golf.

The Traditions 18-hole Course opened in January and is the signature course of the newly redesigned facility. The beautiful tree-lined course is a fit for players of all abilities, from those who are just learning the game of golf to championship players seeking a challenge.

The Players nine-hole Course features six par-3s and three par-4s making it an excellent course for golfers who are still new to the sport or those who might be looking for a quick game. The playability of this par-30 course makes it a wonderful location for corporate functions or junior events.

The Futures Course, the lighted six-hole course near the driving range is ideal for anyone looking to have a little fun while practicing his or her short game.

Naturally, no event is complete without refreshments, and The Courses at Watters Creek’s on-site restaurant, Grill 33, has you covered. The Courses offers a menu full of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as excellent options from on-site catering experts, Culinary Expressions.  You’ll be able to create the perfect menu to accompany your event; all three meals are covered for you – from grab-and-go snacks to box lunches to buffets, we’ve got you covered.
