Some spaces are too big while others are too small – leaving your group feeling a bit like Goldilocks on her quest for something just right. Here in Allen, we've got the best not-too-big and not-too-small meeting spaces that will be the perfect fit for your group.
Now you’re probably wondering what could possibly be better than finding just the right-size space for your group. How about a space with all the amenities of a large meeting venue coupled with the personal attention that only a smaller host-site can offer? Yep, that’s right we’ve mixed up the perfect-porridge-of-a-place that suites all your mid-sized meeting needs.
If you choose to host your event at one of our two conference hotels, you’ll find plenty of flexible meeting space, the convenience of onsite guest rooms and all the other amenities you’d expect like wireless internet, audio visual capabilities and catering services. You’ll also find some unexpected perks like a menu full of creative culinary options that the Courtyard by Marriott’s new Executive Chef Brandon Granus is bringing to the table or the ability to easily reserve a board room online via Liquid Space at the Hilton Garden Inn.
The one thing you won't find at either place is a crowd. With 9,000 square feet of flexible meeting space at the Hilton Garden Inn and 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting space at the Courtyard by Marriott both locations have just enough space to host one group of about 150-300 people, so your group will receive the star treatment rather than getting lost in the crowd.
Ready to set the stage for your group? There’s no playing around here, we’re sure the Performing Arts Center at Allen High School will fit the bill. This state-of-the-art facility boasts a 1,500-seat hall complete with professional lighting and sound capabilities, draping system, a balcony and a stage that has hosted everything from symphony orchestras and ballerinas to weekend-long conventions for more than 900 people. This space also boasts
The Commons, which can accommodate approximately 600 people at round tables. When school isn’t in session your group can take advantage or breakout rooms for smaller gatherings. Need to feed your group too? No problem. Allen High School's culinary arts students are ready to serve your group when classes are in session. Got your heart set on something else? No worries there. You can bring catering in from one of the great establishments in or around Allen.
So no need to pull a Goldilocks and bother those three bears – head to Allen where the meeting space is just right.
