Spring has sprung! We have the perfect picks to get you outdoors and enjoying the warmer weather in Allen this Spring season!

Rainy Day Fun

PINSTACK high ropes course

April showers bring May flowers, but there’s still tons of fun to be had in Allen on rainy days! Grab the kiddos, your energy, and most importantly your appetite, for a full day of fun and adventure at PINSTACK! Your little daredevil will love to tiptoe across beams and ropes in PINSTACK’s high ropes course and rock-climbing wall, or get the whole family involved for a friendly competition in a round of laser tag and bowling. Refuel on loads of cheese and your choice of toppings with their giant 36-inch pizza.

Topgolf food

Or if you want to get outdoors but not worry about Spring weather, trade your bowling ball for a golf club at
Topgolf’s climate-controlled hitting bays. Rain or shine, they’re ready to host your next outing with interactive golf games, a game hall arcade with new and retro games, gourmet shareables, and a full bar for the adults. Did you know that Topgolf features an accomplished Executive Chef and a chef-driven menu? Come for the games but stay for the food!

Bonus Tip: Play and save big when you sign up for the Shop Allen, TX PlayPass to redeem special offers at PINSTACK and Topgolf! Thank us later.

The Dinosaur Company

Keep the adventure going at Allen’s very own Jurassic Park. Grab a backpack full of dino bait, a jungle hat, and binoculars when you tour The Dinosaur Company’s new facility. But don’t make any sudden moves before the T-rex snaps! These life-like animatronics will wow the kiddos and make for the perfect photo-op! Book a tour now!

Ah, finally a breath of fresh air! Now that the weather is warming up and the green leaves are returning grab a spot at Bethany Lakes Park next to one of the four ponds for a family outing. Pack your fishing pole and bait for catch- and- release fishing, run free with the ducks, or head to the hike and bike trails for an adventure. No matter what you choose, you’ll see why this park is a must! With over 70 miles of parks and trails in Allen, we’ve got wild and free fun and true tranquility for every age. Check out Connemara Nature Preserve, a 72-acre natural oasis that makes a picnic in the park a meal to remember. Venture out for a self-guided tour through the meadow, then surround yourself with a canopy of 80 to 90-year-old pecan trees at The Pecan Grove nestled amid the preserve.

The Edge Skatepark

Or, go where mother nature, history, and excitement come together at one of Allen’s largest parks: Allen Station Park. This park runs from the south side of Exchange where you’ll flip and trick at The Edge Skate Park, to the north side, under the highway bridge where you’ll embark on Allen’s history at the Old Stone Dam. Witness Allen’s most talked about landmark, search to find the hidden trail along the abandoned railroad tracks and snap a few pictures of art on top of the 1910 Bridge.
