As we enjoy the Spring weather in Texas and inch closer to Summer, we’re sharing some fun events that are worth getting outside for! From live music to annual food and arts festivals, you’ll want to mark your calendars and pack your bags for these popular outdoor Spring events in Allen!

Art in the Meadow

Connemara Nature Preserve

April 24, 2021 @ 10am - 3pm

Connemara Art in the Meadow

Celebrate Earth Day at Allen’s natural oasis; Connemara Nature Preserve. Take a short on the trail leading up to 72 acres of serene beauty where they are hosting Art in The Meadow. This free event features over 20 bold art pieces on display from the Allen High School visual art students in the Upper Meadow where you can awe over the talents of young artists. Bring a lawn chair and a beverage to sit and listen to the live musical groups including McMillen HS Orchestra and Clark HS Choir or wander the wide-open meadow to explore the freshly bloomed wildflowers, surrounded by some of Mother Nature’s best creations. 

Concerts by the Creek

Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm

Every Saturday, May 1 - June 19, 2021


Whether it’s date night or a family outing, the summer series
Concerts by the Creek sure knows how to bring out the joy of Spring and summer. Grab your blanket, a lawn chair, and even dinner from one of the Watters Creek restaurants, and find a spot on The Village Green to listen to live sounds of local bands. Dance the evening away to Pop, Soul and Midtown hits, or Rockin’ Texas Country jams by Good ‘N Gone.

Concerts by the Creek

If you miss opening night on May 1, don’t worry! You can let your hair down at this free alfresco event every Saturday through June 19 (weather permitting.) The kids will love the treehouse playground on The Green, and adults can relax with an iced coffee or a glass of vino on the patio at Frogg Coffee Bar and Creperie or a Margarita to go from Fish City Grill

Allen Food & Wine Walk

The Village at Allen

Calling all foodies and wine connoisseurs, the Allen Food Wine Walk is back this Spring! Soak up the sun with friends and family on May 1 at The Village at Allen and indulge in over 50 different wines from all over the world. Take in the sounds of live music and look for that must-have item from one of our local artisans and vendors. You don’t want to miss this event.

Back for another year, Allen Arts Alliance is hosting the annual Allen Arts Festival at Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm. This event is a favorite from locals and visitors alike, bringing together art lovers to enjoy eccentric styles of local artists indulging in many divergent mediums. From sculptures to paintings and even music, this event is for festival-holics and art lovers.
