For art lovers, artists, and artiste’s themselves, The Allen Arts Alliance and Allen Arts Festival paints a vivid picture of Allen’s local talent. Hosted annually at Watters Creek Village, they’ve made a huge impact on bringing arts and culture from all over the area.

like the Sun Creature Series. Five large characters greet trailblazers along the half-mile paved trail loop outside Stephen G. Terrell Recreation Center. Each sculpture is a playfully stylized reinterpretation of a familiar Allen inhabitant: a butterfly, bird, coyote, snail and person. As you explore the trail to find these five larger-than-life creatures, you will encounter a story along the way. The Storybook Trail is a series of double-sided kiosks that, together, share a delightful picture book with interactive prompts and a features a new story each month!
