'Neath the Wreath
“We are super excited to be in Allen, Texas. One of the great things about our new venue is it’s really allowed us to elevate the experience for our shoppers, our merchants, and our volunteers.”
- Cherie Beasley,

Kameha Con
“When we were looking for a place to do the convention we decided that we needed to include the stay with the convention aspect. Allen’s perfect. They have a hotel attached, a very beautiful hotel. Very large convention center. In fact, when we walked through the hotel we saw the rooms and of course, they showed us that first. I remember opening the door to this (the Watters Creek Convention Center) and was shocked that it was this large and this well-thought-out, especially for exhibitors. It screams ‘do a show here’.”
- Chris Slatosch,
Kameha Con
Lone Star Warriors
“What makes the Lone Star Warriors Classic so unique is the Credit Union of Texas Event Center has given us the ability to have this under one roof. We have 32 teams. That’s over 525 players. A lot of times these tournaments split us up into multiple rinks… We never get to see any of our other brothers. We never get to learn about what they are going through. What the Credit Union of Texas Event Center has done is allow us to make it happen all under one roof.”
- Christopher Miller
Lone Star Warriors
Dallas Card Show
"Watters Creek Convention Center is a beautiful place in Allen, TX. There’s a lot of shopping around the area and to have a mass convention in the local area, this is the perfect place. It has the square feet that we need, it has the hotel attached which vendors love, customers love, and the shopping across the street really helps bring in the traffic."
- Kyle Robertson
Event Organizer, Dallas Card Show
Bison Nation Celebration
"I wanted to sincerely pass on my appreciation! Our fans are still beyond amazed at how everything went; I still have not heard one negative comment - and trust me they like to talk! I am so happy that we decided to work with you and your staff and you definitely showed Bison Nation how an event is supposed to be run!"
- Danielle Bratvold, CMP
Director of Events, NDSU Development Foundation - Alumni Association
Esports Homestand Weekend
“This was an incredible weekend on a number of levels.”
- Geoff Moore

“While this might not be the typical group that comes to Allen for an event, the K9 Trials really highlights the diversity of the organizations that choose to hold their events here and the flexibility of our hotels and meeting spaces to accommodate a wide variety of events,”
Karen Cromwell

Texas Trophy and Awards Show
“We really liked being in Allen, it’s just so convenient - especially being right off the highway. The location of the hotel is primo; being located amongst a variety of stores and restaurants was really nice since many of our exhibitors were from out-of-state.”

Tom Thumb Texas Stampede (Now Zimmerer Kubota PBR Challenge)
“The Tom Thumb Texas Stampede is a rodeo with a cause! And we keep getting better! We are a 501c3 organization that was started in 2001 with the intention of making every second count for children’s charities in North Texas. We do this by putting on a fully PRCA sanctioned rodeo that provides entertainment and an avenue for the whole family to experience a true western experience that brings out the inner cowboy in all of us.”
Zandy Carnes
Executive Director, Texas Stampede, Inc.
Special Olympics Texas
“We had a great experience working with the staff in Allen and could not have felt more welcomed. It was moving to get that type of support from the community, especially with this being our first time there. The athletes had an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back.”
