It might be a little warm for fall here in Texas, but let’s face it, every day is a good day for coffee. Celebrate National Coffee Day here in Allen, TX! We’ve got three Authentically Allen spots with signature drinks and delicious bites you’re sure to love.
First up is the winner of Best Coffee House and Best Breakfast in DFW: Armor Coffee. Owned by No Demo Reno star, Jenn Todryk and her husband, Mike, it’s a favorite throughout the metroplex. With signature drinks like the Cookie Butter Latte or fall menu items such as the White Pumpkin Cold Brew, there’s something for everyone on the menu. And don’t forget to grab some scratch-made grub. We’re big fans of the Sausage Griddle Cake Sandwich!
If you’d rather sip your cup of joe from a relaxing patio, head over to Frogg Coffee Bar & Creperie at Watters Creek Village. Brewing locally roasted Oak Cliff Coffee, you’ll love a regular drip coffee, but if you’re into fancy drinks, try a Yin Yang Mocha—a latte with a mix of chocolate and white chocolate. They also have delicious crepes you’ll want to try! For breakfast, have a Viva la Tejas, which has eggs, chorizo, roasted peppers, tomato, and cheddar. Stopping in for lunch? The Italian has roasted chicken, spinach, tomato, mozzarella, and pesto. Yum!
For visitors who want to try something off the beaten path, make your way to Caffe Promenade. Three words: Dalgona Candy Latte. You’ve heard of the internet-famous dalgona coffee and you can try it right here! You’ll also find a variety of unique bites like mochi donuts or croffles—we’ll take one of each!
