Allen is home to Allen Americans hockey (ECHL), a championship-winning team known for its fast-paced play, loyal fan base, and electric atmosphere at Credit Union of Texas Event Center.
We also host spectacular tournaments across the city such as the National Collegiate Wrestling Championship, Triple Crown Softball Tournaments, U.S. Figure Skating, cheer competitions, and so much more.
Championship hockey is the backbone of the Americans franchise since being founded prior to the 2009-10 season, with the Red, White and Blue having captured four consecutive ECHL Championships from 2013–2016. As the NHL Ottawa Senators’s AA affiliate, the Americans have called Allen home for over a decade and draw from a large local and regional fan base.
