Experience an evening that brings classical music, jazz, and contemporary sounds together as the Allen Philharmonic presents Six String Symphony and More! at Lowery Auditorium. The first half features the world premiere of David Das’ Lenny and George Walk into a Bar, Grammy-nominated pianist Benjamin Loeb performing the finale of Dan Bikel’s piano concerto, and award-winning pianist Joel Martin with his genre-bending Jazzical Komitas.
The second half takes the evening in a new direction with Six String Symphony’s A Six String Odyssey, featuring a group of Grammy-winning and nominated artists alongside DFW favorites Chloe Trevor on violin and Joseph Kuipers on cello.
