You have 60 minutes to solve the task at hand using the clues and puzzles hidden throughout. It’s hectic, fun and challenging! High 5, an upscale family entertainment company with two locations in the Greater Austin area, is slated to open its new location in Allen in Spring 2024!
Like the large, two-story High 5 in Lakeway, the Allen location will feature traditional High 5 attractions, including 24 lanes of bowling, a 2-story laser tag arena, axe throwing, and High 5’s signature “Up Top” boutique bowling lounge. In addition, the new location will offer escape rooms and an expansive resort-style miniature golf course allowing for outdoor entertainment. Dirty Dough is now open in Allen! Visit the Twin Creeks Village location for delicious one of a kind stuffed and iced cookies. There are all of the fillings, mix-ins and layers that go into the cookies that make up the unique experience of a Dirty Dough cookie. Flavors rotate frequently and they’ve arrived just in time for you to try the holiday seasonal menu!

Allen is getting it’s very own brewery – Armor Brewing Company! Now open – located just off of W Bethany Drive and SH-75, get ready for a brewpub that brings together locals and visitors to create community over a pint brewed in-house and great food. A DFW beloved food truck is opening a brick and mortar location at Watters Creek Village, right here in Allen! Vaqueros Bar-B-Q is run by Trey Sánchez, who considers it a family affair since he makes all the favorites his dad made growing up at the family barbecue restaurant.

The restaurant will have the same menu as the other two Ice Houses, but because there’s more space, Cramer plans to have three barbecue smokers, whereas the Uptown restaurant has just one. We can’t wait to take a seat and sample this experience in Allen!
Chicken N Pickle, the unique, indoor/outdoor entertainment complex including a casual, chef-driven restaurant and sports bar, pickleball courts, and a variety of yard games, is opening in 2024 at The Farm, a 135-acre mixed-use destination located on the south side of SH-121/Sam Rayburn Tollway and Alma Road.
Chicken N Pickle will join other entertainment venues including High 5 and the recently opened The HUB in the award-winning development. We can’t wait for all the new entertainment in Allen!
Dallas’ popular backyard bar Katy Trail Ice House is expanding to Allen in 2024!
It’ll be the biggest Katy Trail Ice House so far and the last one according to the owner. Costing between $7 to $8 million to build, the owner is also spending $1 million to buy and plant trees on the site — a must-have for this shaded backyard hangout.
